Welcome to the Pixel Project
UNEASYsilence was founded on the idea that we would reach out and speak to people worldwide about items that we felt needed more attention, observing the unobserved if you will. Growing from a daily visitor count of three unique viewers a month in early 2004, we now reach over a million people worldwide a month, not counting RSS subscribers, and growing everyday.
We have long resisted traditional advertising models and placed our priorities on content, design and community before revenue. But as with all things, as we continue to grow our expenses grow too.
We decided to take a non traditional approach to fundraising, called "The Pixel Project." The concept is based off of Alex Tew's Million Dollar Homepage and executed using AdIcons by Rebitran. It allows you, the reader, to purchase advertisement on UNEASYsilence to promote whatever you want in incremental amounts, to match your budget.
Each space on our grid measures 16 x16 pixels and is available for the introductory price of $50, which we consider a very small amount to ask to get the attention of millions of people. Help support UNEASYsilence by either donating whatever you can or by purchasing a space on "The Pixel Project."
If you don't feel like joining the pixel project, we welcome any donation large or small. We will recogninze any donation larger then $1 as a thank you on this page. All you need to do is use the donation below.

The "Fine Print"
Space is limited to only 70 units. Once a purchase is completed an administrator from UNEASYsilence will complete the transaction within 48 hours. The link to your page will stay on the site for six months. We reserve the right to review all submissions for content, and reject an ad for any reason. When you 'buy' space you will not 'own' any part of the homepage or this site. Images can't be animated. Ads will display on the home page and all sub pages. Although we try for 100% uptime we can't guarantee it and take no responsibility for downtime less then 24 hours. People who donate outside of the project will be noted on this page. Prices are subject to change at anytime, All amounts are in USD. Transactions handled by PayPal. UNEASYsilence is an Experiment23 project.
