With the importance of Flash significantly diminished on the modern web, Adobe are making moves to cement their position with the forthcoming release of Flash 11. So, with so many iPhone users now completely used to a Flash free world, and so many other options available, what have Adobe done to try and regain their lost ground?

Well, their focus in the development of the newest version of Flash has been very much centered around the online gaming community. With Flash 11, Adobe claim that the user can experience browser based games that look and respond like console games, thanks to its new Molehill interface, which optimizes hardware accelerated graphics in both 2D and 3D. The platform general manager at Adobe, who has been overseeing the project, Danny Winokur, claims that this improvement will allow Flash 11 to render graphics over 1000 times faster than the last version. Facebook is Updating It’s Profile Page… Here is How to Get the Update Now

Facebook today has announced a new and improved profile design which they will be rolling out starting from tomorrow. Facebook plans to complete the rollout for everyone by early next year, but there is no reason to wait!

Here’s how you can get it right now!

Step 1: Navigate to http://www.facebook.com/about/profile/.

Step 2: Now click on the green-colored “Get the New Profile” button found on the top right-hand side corner of the page.

Step 3: That’s it! You should now see the new Facebook profile design!
