The Upgrades Keep on Rolling! I “Like” It!

When you get on a roll, you are on a roll! First I was proud to announce the NEW UNEASYapp (Which you should download – I will use that to alert readers to secret contents and giveaways which will NEVER be published on the site). Second, I relaunched the UNEASYsilence mobile site (Located at both UNEASYsilence.com or UNEASYme.com). It is much faster, supports more mobile devices and is more flexible!
Then I decided UNEASYsilence needs to be “liked.” Now at the top of our posts we have a Facebook “Like” button which makes it easier to share your favorite UNEASYposts with your friends.
I have a few more upgrades in the works, but PLEASE sound off in the comments if there is anything else you would like to see or would like me to change! I wanna really be sure never to lose touch with my readers!
How Did I Get So Fat? Maybe it Was Carls Jr Footlong CheeseBurger

There are some things in life that just boggle my mind. I’m adding the Carls Jr Footlong CheeseBurger to my list (right with the 7 Inch BK Burger and the 810 Calorie quarter pound hot dog from Sonics).

Carls Jr is just test marketing it at select locations but hopes for a nationwide rollout. Honestly, I don’t know what else to say about this.

How to Avoid Overpaying for iPhone and iPad Data. Use the iPad SIM in an iPhone and Vice Versa
Being an iPad 3G owner and iPhone owner I get the privilege of paying AT&T $60/month for data. That’s almost as much as a typical persons home internet connection. Kinda silly if you ask me.
So, here is a way you can cut the data costs a little. SIM swaping. Now, bear in mind I take no responsibly if AT&T decides that they don’t like this trick and charge you a boat ton on money on your bill. It is strongly advised after a little bit of usage you check your data usage and charges online.

That being said put your iPad into “Airplane Mode” (which is in the iPads settings). Now take out the iPads SIM (using the iPads included SIM removal tool – or a paperclip) and put the iPhone’s SIM in the tray for the iPad. Navigate to the iPads settings again, click on cellular data, then APN settings. It is important to mimic the iPhones APN so be sure to enter the following information:
APN name: wap.cingular
username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
password: CINGULAR1
Tah dah… Turn off “Airplane Mode” (in the settings) and you will now get 3G data.
Please note however, when you remove your iPhone SIM from the iPad the settings don’t stay. You will need to change the APN every time, but thats a small price to pay for not having to pay for an iPad data plan.
On the other hand, if you were LUCKY enough to get an unlimited iPad dataplan there is a neat little hack that will allow you to use the iPad SIM in your iPhone 4 or 3G(s). You should give a gander at a previous article I wrote, just ignore the SIM resizing if you have an iPhone 4.
Screw Silly Putty… Enter Magnetic Thinking Putty (It’s Cooler then you Think!)
Forget about Silly Putty. The Magnetic Thinking Putty, ($13.50 each), is a whole new world of awesome. Well, even though its basically regular Silly Putty infused with “millions of tiny micron-sized magnets.” But, as we all know Magnets just make things all that more awesome. Remember discovering what happened when you put our first magnet to a TV?

Each tin of Magnetic Thinking Putty also includes a super-strong neodymium iron boron magnet that lets you start playing with your new ‘toy’ as soon as you take it out of the packaging.
Introducing the NEW UNEASY iPhone App… Plus a GIVEAWAY!

Ladies and gentlemen, after lots of hard work the UNEASYapp has been relaunched and is completely rewritten. It now is MUCH faster and supports PUSH NOTIFICATIONS for broadcasting important news. Also, did I mention its free?
For those of you who are new to the UNEASYapp, it is the the best way to get your daily dose of the content from UNEASYsilence.com as well as our other favorite news sources. Think of it as an RSS reader on steroids from a trusted source.
If you downloaded the UNEASYApp before you have to download this new one, it is a new version and will not update the prior version.
Head on over to the iOS AppStore and download your copy of the UNEASYApp. But here is the fun part. We are giving away an iPod Touch to a lucky person.
The details?
Just download and install the app and send a tweet that you downloaded it. I will then send a push notification to the UNEASYapp on Monday, July 12th announcing the winner! But wait, there’s more! For every 200 downloads I will give away ANOTHER iPod Touch so the more people that download the more iPod Touches I’ll give away!
So please, download the app and tweet that you did and get a chance to win!
Retro Gamers, Get Excited! This Console Combines NES, SNES And Sega Genesis Consoles

I’m a total classic gamer! As for all the new consoles and games out there – I have them but when I play I just mash buttons. But when I heard there is a console that lets me play NES, SNES and Genesis games I knew I had to blog about it!
Sure there is the Virtual Console on Wii, but not all my favorite games are available on it and there is something about having to blow into a cartridge to play it (Nope, this doesn’t play ROMS). If you don’t like playing with the 2 included wireless controllers and are feeling especially retro you can plug in the controllers from your original consoles since it includes 2 ports for each of them. It’s also got composite and S-video AV hookups, and is available in your choice of red or black for just $69.99.
