iPhones are sleek, small and convenient but they are very fragile. An iPhone will never last without a protective case! But now, you can even bring your iPhone on your exciting adventures and keep it safe with the new Ultra Durable case.

A new project by kickstarter has developed with a new case for the iPhone that can be used on any GoPro Mount, allowing you capture never before seen footage on your iPhone.

You can attach it to your helmate, bike, car, body and even your pet! Pledges are in progress and all funding will go toward the cost of tooling and manufacturing to create a high quality polypropylene plastic with stainless steel pins for the final product. (more…)

Where did Netflix go Wrong?

No NETFLIXPoor old Netflix. They just can’t seem to recover public favor after the changes they made to their pricing and policies two months ago enraged their user base, and now, with the repackaging of their mailed DVD rental service as a separate entity called “Qwikster”, they only seem to have further alienated the customers who once raved about their offerings. 23,000 people so far have commented on Netflix CEO Reed Hastings’ blog post announcing the “launch” of Qwikster, and none of them sound very happy.

So, why is everybody so angry with Netflix?

Well, Netflix increased the prices of its rental services a couple of months back, which served to annoy users who are essentially already paying for something they know they can get for free, if not legally. In order to address this, they decided to split out the DVD mail rental service as a separate offering, complete with its own separate web ordering service, calling it Qwikster. The reasoning is that by running the two separate services independently, the pricing can be controlled under separate models. (more…)

Find Out How A Website is Tracking You

Ghostery is your window into the invisible web – tags, web bugs, pixels and beacons that are included on web pages in order to get an idea of your online behavior. Ghostery tracks the trackers and gives you a roll-call of the ad networks, behavioral data providers, web publishers, and other companies interested in your activity.

Available as extensions for Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari, Ghostery also lets you block the trackers it finds, and view the source of suspect scripts. Running it is quite an eye-opener, to say the least.

Really cool to see what websites are really running on your computer!

Potato Chip Hand Keeps You (and Your Gizmos) Grease-Free

chiphands

No, making a cute girl holding your product isn’t gonna make it less silly. But that why I love it. The product is ridiculous!

What geek isn’t in front of a game or computer at sometime in the day with some kind of snack in their hand? Doritos is a geeky food group, right? Problem is as you are carbing up for the major Halo session your nasty and greasy hands are gumming up your hardware.

The £4.99 (appx. $8 USD) Potato Crisp Hand hopes to solve this grease problem. It has a hand with two fingers that pinch together to pick up snacks.

Just stick it in the bag, press down on the button, and you’ve got yourself a yummy snack without the mess on your hand.
