Tekken is without a doubt my favourite fighting game ever and one of my favourite series ever so I’m certainly following all the news on the soon to be released Tekken 6. Today comes news of another new character pictured above named Bob and I can’t get over it. He looks like a fat Paul Phoenix or a blonder, older version of Mario almost and I can’t want to beat you people online with him when the game comes out.

My current RSS Reader for the while has been updated to include search. It’s not something I totally needed before but I am sure I can now find use for. Assuming they don’t dump your older posts after a while, the search can be a very invaluable tool. Another update which was not mentioned was that the limit for unread item notification went up the 1000+ now. Previously, if you had more than 100 unread items it would say (100+) and now the figure is bumped to 1000. This is pretty useful for sites like digg as now I can really know how much I have yet to read, up to 1000 at least.

I came home the other day to my temporary digs (until I can find a permanent place of my own) to find a note on the Air Conditioner simply stating “Do NOT use.” No indication of who wrote it, no indication of why, and no explanation of why I should have to suffer through a hot New York summer afternoon without a cool, dry wind blowing over my while I work.
For as long as there have been sticky notes and people living or working together, this kind of not-so-subtle communication has been commonplace. New blog Passive-Agressive Notes aims to catalogue these communiqués from across the world and give readers a peek into the daily conflicts raging just under the surface of every-day life.
From Fun Tech Talk; going through 5 simple things that can be modified in Vista to speed up performance significantly. These include:
1. Turning off Remote Differential Compression
2. Turning off Windows Search Indexing
3. Adding a 2GB flash drive to use ‘Ready Boost’
4. Disabling Automatic Disk Defragmentation
5. Shutting off Windows Hibernation
Although I have little [read: no] experience with Vista, these do seem like easy tasks to gain some speed boosts on one behemoth of an OS.
We’re all heard horror stories about nail guns; the kid standing on one side of the wall and the contractor on the other side…a formula for disaster. We’ve all seen funny videos portraying nail gun fights as fun and humorous:
Hit the jump for comedy! (and seriousness) (more…)
There’s a show called The Office I believe some have heard about and the new season begins in September, though it’s great to see NBC giving the users out there something to get us fans pumped in the form of a “what I did over my summer vacation” style show. I really had a good laugh at some of the things in there because of the references made which will be picked up by those who regularly watch the show such as Andy’s mention of tubing.
Sure, technically NBC stuck a commercial on YouTube but it’s entertaining and getting fans excited again. Things like this, not this put companies in good relationships with fans. September 27th can’t come soon enough.
This authentic chain mail is perfect for the LARPers out there who just need to look as authentic as possible. You can’t put it on one arm at a time since it doesn’t stretch and while putting it on it might actually get tangled with your hair. Other than that it’s the perfect attire for someone traveling by air.

Get a load of Sony’s Rolly. Not much information available but there’s talk of it being like a “pet” for people a la Sony’s own AIBO. I don’t know what to think of it. Maybe when we can get a list of features, price and why we even need one before we can give it some serious thought. Look out for more information sometime soon, we assume.
You’ve no doubt seen the video of Miss South Carolina 2007 giving her response to a pagent question and were left scratching your head, after which you had a good laugh no doubt. Well, seems as though we’re the ones that will be laughed at since what she said really had a deeper meaning we just weren’t able to pick up on, thanks to Jimmy Kimmel.
