@Mat, you are clueless – I use ABP on the defualt settings just like the rest of the world. It blocks what it blocks, which is most ads thankfully. Furthermore, the plugin blocks ads on the client level, so most “creators” will have no clue if you do or don’t block their ads.

@Tom, so instead of having ads you’d rather pay for something? Or would you just rather be a douche and not give creators their share of profit? Granted, I use ABP for blocking annoying (i.e. talking or flashing ads), but I don’t block every form of advertising. People like you however, are ensuring that we’ll all have to pay to view websites such as Digg, or they’ll have to close down. Thanks.

I’m amazed that companies can still build a business around ads. Thanks to adblock, I’ve almost forgotten the internet had them.

This is not new, Pandora just changed the name. Pandora has always offered the $3/month subscription tier. This removed ads and allowed you to play your stations on devices like the SqueezeBox
