One reason it is not in high demand is because the with the crappy 10mbps. We can't really stream high-def video efficiently. If they started rolling out 100mbps we could see the death of cable tv and switch over to full Internet TV.

I've been a boost customer for 3 years now, and I love it. I fully endorse cablevision as a company. Their customer service is spectacular, rarely is my connection down, and when it is, I'm on the phone talking to a human, in America in 5 minutes, and having the problem fixed in under 24 hours, (if that long).
I average 27Mbps down, and 5.5 Mbps up (advertised is 30/5), and I would say that that is acceptable, and unlike Verizon, I'm not paying $90 for this, I'm paying half that.

Another thing that cablevision allows is hosting of a server (with boost). You can't host your own server on Verizon FiOs, its against their TOS, (ive looked, and called, and asked). So the big question is, what are you gonna do with all the 20Mbps upstream if you can't host your own content? Upload torrents?

And there are no bandwidth caps, and with the whole Boost option, I doubt there ever will be.

I'm not sure if I'll upgrade to the new 101/15 service, I can't justify the extra money right now, but when the time comes, I'm glad it's there.

That's the end of my Cablevision love rant
