It’s On! Win an HP dv15!

The HP “Freshmen 15″ contest is now going in full effect! The contest is now through the 18th of October (Expiring at 11:59 Eastern 10/18).

Here are the rules: All we ask is that post a link to a picture of your current computer setup in our comments. Be sure to include your email address in the comment form (email address will NOT be published). If you don’t see your comment published for some reason feel free to also email your entry it hpsontest@experiment23.com.

Winner will be selected at random and will be announced sometime on 10/19.

    Hello Kitty!
    This is my laptop , I tried to make a transparent screen for the first time in my life and after two hours all I got is this:

    Its hard to get my school work done when I have to share this computer. A personal laptop will be great to get my school work done…..not only that but it can save my hand from hand writing all those notes during lecture.

    this is my current setup. yes i dont own a desktop but so far this 3 year old mx3225 works fine for me. an upgrade would be nice though

    Technically it’s not even mine, it’s my wife’s. I don’t have a laptop of my own, and the closest thing I have to one is my PS3. Then again, that doesn’t really count. :(

    I’d like an upgrade to a laptop that I actually OWN, haha.

    Since the photo was taken, the wifi on my laptop has died and it has weird lines down the screen. It’s a real pain to do anything mobile with anymore.

    My desktop comes with me everywhere! It’s a Toshiba I got ages ago. Still working, but in serious need of replacement… My wallet, a couple of rubbers and the latest Harry Potter book are its current companions :)

    This is my computer.
    It was given to me 8 years ago by my parently. It has a ups, an upgraded cpu, old monitor, keyboard, mouse, new scanner and a dead printer.

    Not so exciting, but here’s mine! It’s on, but it doesn’t look it — the screen only works about 20% of the time, and I couldn’t get it to do so while I took the pic (so I had to send this from a friend’s computer).

    I’ve had this laptop for several years now and before that my Dad put it to work for a few years. The battery doesn’t last long and the speakers are on the fritz but it still boots up and connects to the net so it hasn’t been replaced yet. A new HP would be nice but if I don’t win I will still put my current laptop to work until its last breath.

    One computer was fried during a storm (a power surge came through on the phone line) and the other, when hooked up, the mama jama of a monitor says nothing is connected to it…so winning a new laptop would be amazing.

    I don’t have a convenient was to take a picture of the current laptop I’m using, but is an older compaq laptop. It has a couple major problems, the hard drive is very unreliable, but even worse, up until a coupe months ago, it was a fire hazard due to the broken power connector on the back, but I took it apart and replaced that and replaced the melted end of the power cord as well. It’s still not great, but it’s less of a fire hazard. Here is a picture of my older laptop, an ultraportable toshiba. It’s only 333MHz, but it runs XP ok, and it has a dvd reader in the dock. It has probably the thinnest screen I have ever seen on any laptop, past or present. Heres a couple pics of that:
