App Store Updates Down?

Scattered reports are trickling in that the App Stores update mechanism, both on iTunes and on the iPhone, is down.
Anybody else getting similar errors?
Yep, same thing’s been happening to me all day. The rest of the store works, just not updates.
And clicking the “Check for Updates” button on the iTunes \ Applications screen also seems to do nothing today.
