Proof That Bitching Works: Rogers “Fixes” iPhone Plans

Seems that the customers bitching worked. Rogers is launching “promotional pricing” for the iPhone at launch giving users 6GB of data for $30 a month. The catch: customers must sign a three year (yup, three year) contract before August 31.
The 3 year plan isn’t really a catch to the new promotion since ALL of Rogers iPhone plans require a 3 year contract.
There fix is definitely working though, I’m once again considering an iPhone.
Rogers must be joking with their announcement made earlier today, there just trying to save some face in the media and consumers are falling for it. First off its a promo. which means its only temp (will only last for 20 days). Secondly ALL phones here in canada are bundled with 3yr. contracts. Who the f*** wants a 3yr. contract?!
If it was 2yr. plan w/6gb. data, and decent voice-plan, and it wasn’t limited to 20 day promo. Maybe I would consider getting it. As much as I like apple products and the iPhone in particular, I won’t die with out one and I hope I can say the same for other canadian consumers waiting impatiently to get ****** in the *** by Rogers.
We all took our time to sign the petition and speak our minds, which about 2 weeks later caused this “DEAL” (promo) to occur, and lot of people are saying that Rogers caved, but to stop now for this nonsense of a deal, wouldn’t be Rogers caving to consumer demand but rather vice-versa.

At least APPLE listens to their customers, which is more than what I can say about Microsoft (XP PETITION) died on the 30th of JUNE. APPLE, ROCKS !!!
