This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.AS a frequent traveler, airport security is just an annoying hassle. You have to basically disrobe and take everything out of your bag to get on a plane. The TSA must feel out pain because they are developing special bags that won’t require us to take out laptops out when passing through the XRay.
The Transportation Security Administration has given the go-ahead for passengers to use newly designed carry-on bags that will let them pass through security without having to take their laptops out for the X-ray inspection.
Kip Hawley, the agency’s director, told me Monday that the T.S.A. would accept the new laptop cases as soon as they come on the market.
Two of the biggest luggage manufacturers — Pathfinder Luggage and Targus — say they are rushing to produce the new “checkpoint friendly” laptop cases and expect them to be available by late September or early October.
Honestly I don’t see how the TSA will be able to tell the difference between “safe” and “unsafe” bags, but I’ll sure give it a go!
Yes, I’m sure these bags will work fine in most situations **cough** international travel **cough cough**
