Remembering Mario Paint

The world is littered with failed games and game consoles. Anybody remember ET for Atari, Neo Geo, Virtual Gameboy, Haze, Sonic Party?
Yea, I thought not. Well another game I banished to the annals of my mind is Mario Paint – until today. It seems to have a cultish following on YouTube to use Mario Paint composer to play modern songs. Case and point:

Er, Virtual Game Boy? I know of a Virtual Boy, but that’s about it. :S
