@Evan...don't worry about stating if it's PC or Mac software....some of us actually read before we download...guess it says something about our fast food society today...

Ever since you guys recommended this and gave out the invite code, I've been using it. I haven't found that many problems at all, and it totally replaced PIdgin on my system. Thanks for the invite code that got me started on it in the first place. I've been trying my best to turn my friends onto it!

I am still waiting for the full support of some the original functions of msn messenger or others like custom smileys, offline-messages or video-chats. But for the first it is not bad. Especially the email support is really a nice feature if you use serveral accounts.

I was using the beta (Thanks for the invite code!) and referred all of my friends to Digsby. I love it.

My only issue is that this beta seems buggy compared to the previous closed betas. I had a lot of trouble getting twitter working, but after around an hour it started pulling the tweets.

I'm really trying to decide if I use the twitter interface in Digsby or not. I enjoy having just one application to handle it all. While Digsby beats Trillian and Pidgin as far as an instant messaging client goes and having my 'life feeds' from facebook and myspace pulled in a la socialthing or friendfeed is wonderful.

But twhirl on my PC and twitteriffic on my Mac are what I want digsby to be for twitter.

Who knows.

For now I'm using both as the impulse strikes me.

Exer - they do regular updates, try downloading this version, and if you get problems, send in some bug reports, the team there seems to be really keeping up with this.

Jeremy - I actually did mention platforms in my initial review which I linked to in this post. http://uneasysilence.com/archive/2008/02/12944/ So I should be covered :D I still could have mentioned it, so next time, thanks for heads up!

I gave this a shot for a couple weeks awhile back, but there were just far too many bugs to be usable for me. Every time I loaded the program it "forgot" all my account data, and it was becoming a pain to add all that back in every time. Not to mention that it constantly disconnected my msn and yahoo accounts, countless times a day. It was a shame too, because I thought the program was really slick.

I'll just have to wait for a more stable release, perhaps once it graduates past beta.

Hey just a quick note- when linking/reviewing software, let us know if it's for PC or Mac (or both).

Love the blog. Keep up the good work.
