Want to use a web-based calendar but can’t because of syncing, or lack thereof? Google Calendar Sync was unveiled tonight allows you to sync your Google Calendar with your Outlook Calendar. The program works both ways and should prove useful for anyone who fancies having their Calendar data available wherever they are.

    this is defintely awesome now I just need contact syncing (and maybe a better contact management system from google) and mobile sync of all of that and I will be stoked

    Plaxo is a far better solution. It has a toolbar for Outlook and Thunderbird that syncs with Outlook, Gmail and Calendar, Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, AOL. That covers about 99.9% of people.
    If you have an iPhone or Smartphone, then you can sync everything everywhere.

    I use BusySync to syncronize my iCal with Google calender. This works great until now.
