FeedRinse is a service that takes a website feed and removes the things you don’t want from it. For example, you love UNEASYsilence but you are tired of any Apple news, you can rinse UNEASY’s feed by having Feed Rinse remove all instances of the word “Apple”. FeedRinse is free to use for most features.

    creepy, i signed up for this service this morning… works really well. i used it for a feed from dzone where i only want to see stories containing certain keywords. So it works two ways – either allow posts containing a set of words or block posts containing a set of words.

    This is just one of the many functions inherent to Yahoo Pipes. While this is a very neat quick fix, Pipes has so much more to offer for those of us that like to tinker with RSS feeds a bit more.
