Avoider = Way Too Hard

Man, some of these games get on my nerves as much as full blown console games because of their difficulty sometimes. I’m looking at your Metal Gear Solid 3! Avoider is deceptively simple as you control the mouse and have to keep it away from the cursor-grabbing monster thing. Seems easy enough, right? Well, you’ll see. Remember not to touch the sides, and your score to beat is 185. The game is in Japanese, just pick the first option to play.
Play It
Addicting… My high score is 849, but then again, I am using a tablet PC, so I don’t know if that’s cheating or not.
I got 871 on a regular PC. The game wasn’t that hard; I got the score within about 3 minutes of play.
I got 650 or so while carrying on a coherent conversation on the phone. I’m using a high-sensitivity adjustable mouse, so I guess it could be cheating.

First try I got 751, so I think your setup, one way or another, is to blame for your low score.
Got 605. Found it fairly easy. Just using an iMac and USB Mighty Mouse.

MGS3 isn’t hard, it’s amazing.
But I’m a MGS addict and fanatic, so I might be biased.
Oh hell yeah, I am going to marry that game, but it’s way frustrating at times.
