Want a web app to show you just how little you know about the world? I’ve got just the thing for you: name as many countries as you can in 5 minutes. Prepare to feel way more stupid than you should when you forget…a lot.

Some of these are a bit fishy, for one Antarctica isn’t a country and nor is British or French of any of the others mentioned Antarctic Teritories concidered a country? Also they missed out a few Andora is a country by their logic if they have Monaco in there

I took the colors one, and that one seems a bit dubious too. Many of the colors turned out to be “medium yellow” and the like, while excluding some that I thought were obvious. It’s like they got their list from a crayon box (Probably did)

I only got 44, and FYI; England is a country.
I don’t understand in what way this shows how uncultured or out-of-touch I am with the world. I can’t name all the elements, but i understand the basic properties and interactions of the most significant ones.
Even still, asking people to pull all the names out of the recesses of their memory is an incredibly irrelevant and meaningless way to gauge some one’s familiarity with the world’s countries.
Fun but inconsequential.

65, there aren’t even 200 countries in the world. many of those are territories
I got 117 on my first try but I love geography, type fast, and spell well. This test is right up my alley.
