Introducing Clipalizer: Create Custom Webclip Icons for ANY Website

Ok, so a few days ago we told you how, as a WEBMASTER, you can create custom website webclip icons for all your iPhone enabled readers to enjoy. But the problem with that trick is that a web master must create an icon and upload it to the root directory of the website - any many website have not or will not do that.
Well, time to give the power to the people!
With Clipalizer you can easily create your own custom webclip icons for your favorite sites. All you need to do is visit Clipalizer put in your favorite sites name and URL and upload a 57×57 PNG icon. Clipalizer will then give you a shortened URL to plug into your iPhone which will then allow you to select your custom webclip. That custom link that you made will stay alive forever so you can always enjoy your custom icon.
This service is cross platform, completely FREE and very private. We do not collect any personally identifiable information and everything is anonymized.
We hope you enjoy this new beta tool as much as we do, and keep your eyes pealed, new features will be added all the time!
Create your custom webclips now!
PS: If you don’t have a tool to resize or even create PNG’s may I highly suggest Imagewell.

Awesome.
However, I suck at making the icons - would you be able to make a section of icons people have made which they have chosen to be available to anyone?

Not working for me. No matter how small the PNG file I try to upload, it gives an error message: Picture dimensions are too large. Even though they are all 57 x 57 or smaller. I wonder what is the problem !

I can’t get this to work either… Saved as PNG 57×57 and I keep getting the same invalid file message…

this is nice, but would be absolutely great if the PNG’s could be bigger than 57×57.
Best results are when icons are 128×128, now they look vague.

I can’t get it to work either. Tells me that the image is invalid…and I even tried using the images from the public gallery! (http://clipalizer.com/gallery.php)

Got it folks. My problem was that I was using IE 7. No dice. Used firefox and it worked perfectly. Good luck!
