Those pesky Gizmodo folks! When they’re not shutting the TVs off at CES they’re figuring out ways to take advantage of iTunes’ movie rentals. They’ve confirmed that by adjusting your system time you will be able to watch movies for longer than Apple would want you to. $5 to watch a new release as much as I want for a year? Sounds good to me, but what about you?

Just a thought from someone who cannot get access to iTunes Movie rentals, yet at least: Is it possible to import the rented movies into iMovie?

  2. Jerry says:

  5. Minh says:

Would anybody happen to know if it keeps track of the time on the iPod also? If not, one could just keep it on your iPod by not syncing it for an extended period of time… However, it does sound highly impractical.

Those Gizmodo people are just trying to find out how many different ways to get into trouble….exposing the bad code to the world…and…people not shutting off the ir capabilities of televisons at CES without…I don’t know…tape…bad..bad…bad

  9. tyson says:

I would argue that most people don’t want a terabyte of movies etc in their house….renting will become even more popular because you don’t have to drive to the store!
