Announced today at Macworld Apple is offering a Airport Extreme with 500GB or 1TB of NAS storage for Time Machine.

Available today for $299 or $499 for 1TB

    What a load of crap. They just wanted to sell us their new device for $299 and more.

    I hate it when companies do that.

    I’d be happy if Time Machine would just work with my friggin’ Ethernet NAS. (And no, unsupported hacks don’t count.)

    Honestly, Time Machine was one of the main reasons I bought a Leopard.
