So, I’m sure we have some loyal Blackberty folk among us. So, I have READ that the Blackberry is capable of playing streaming .3gp and .mp3. Yet, I have been able to do it. Anybody in reader land done it? Share your model of BBY and application.

never knew it could do “streaming”… I can’t imagine very good support via EDGE though ;(

closest i have got is tinytube.net

It kind of has streaming support, at least on my Curve 8300. It can play MP3s, but it has to download the entire file to temp memory and then plays it. 3GP has always crashed my device. Even after an OS update, it does the same thing.

quickplay has a free service called videostreams…..still new so not a whole lot of content, but it works ok. BB 8130 only as far as i know ATM. slingbox is OTW for the end of the year i believe
