Showcased at Oracle OpenWorld Michael Dell took the wraps off Dells highly speculated Tablet PC. Looks interesting, but Michael is no Steve.

    worst.. demo… ever. Multitouch capability is awesome, now let’s show these people what we can do with it! See… you can finger paint, and move photos around like an iPhone! yeesh. I’m sure the product will be awesome but dear god, show a little creativity and take the opportunity to show is all something at least mildly interesting. Maybe I’m just cranky this morning.

    Seriously…. this is Dell.. in 2007, and the painting looks like it’s done on your 1994 computer.

    It’s one thing to introduce multi touch into a laptop now, but with no OS support and programs having to be specifically written to target the this range of dell laptops i really can’t see this taking off
