All corporate Exchange users should know what BES is. The BES server is a policy manager for how your Blackberry works on corporate networks, and RIM is rumored to be developing a consumer version of the software sometime in December.

The software, rumored to be called Unite, will allow up to 5 BlackBerry’s to share documents, photos, media, calendars, contacts, and more between each other and the host computer. Currently available for free in Europeit it is rumored that the Unite software will be made available free only with new handset purchases.
