The Great Tech Stock Sell Off Of ‘07
Posted in Random by Dan at 4:24 pm
Yikes, has anybody seen the market lately?! The correction has come, or has it.
Do you think now is a good time to invest in tech? Sell off all your shares? Sell a little? Who do you own? What do you like?
Proceed with your gripes here.

Im still holding onto a little Level3 Communications. They cant seem to do much right these days but they do own a lot of fiber, which will be important if the US can ever get some real broadband going. Plus the stock has taken some HUGE hits lately, so now might be a good time to look at them. Other than that, Im primarily in a fund that invests in international small business.
I don’t know what to say about advice, etc but I sure as hell have been hit hard over this pat week (and especially today). Times are rough.
The market’s not going away. Buy low sell high. Ain’t that how it goes?
I own AT&T right now and I’m going to hold out. I’d say invest right now that the market is kinda down thanks to Cisco’s outlook, Citigroup posting 11 billion in debt, the housing market and the market itself slowning down (according to Bernanke), and oil just about hitting the 100 dollars a barrel mark. I think it might all turn around because OPEC did and didn’t say that they were going to increase production. But who really knows, its always up one minute, and down the next.
sold apple last week at around 185 … plummeted this week down to 150’s but back on the rise… maybe i’ll try some day trading??
before that though, i had held apple for a few years…i bought it years ago at around 46 a share…. so i think i got my money’s worth at 185…
Depends on your timeframe. This market is no place for investors right now, but a heaven for day trader. Sadly, I’m not that good with day trading :(
