People everywhere (well maybe only Brian Lam – we love ya B) can rejoice the famed and fabled hologram StarWars-esque effect for PhotoBooth and iChat has leaked onto the internet.
All you have to do is download the this .qtz file that supposedly came straight from an older developer build, and install the file in your /Library/Compositions folder & enjoy.
Now if a leaked developer effect isn’t your cup of tea a fan has created a similar effect. Its not quite right yet and needs a little refinement but 100% cool. Just installing this file requires a little more work.

Theres something for Linux and they have a PC port for direct X
