There is a dream when one day that all our gadgets will become 100% recyclable and that green hardware will one day put an end to the the dumping of old iPods in 3rd world countries.

Enter the Alienware AlienExchange program. You can trade in anything from cameras to games consoles, from Macs to mobile phones of various brands. While it’s a far cry from the ideal of a green gadget, it certainly is a huge step forward. They will even give you a $200 for old Alienware stuff.

Hmm… if I had a bit of free time I could go on eBay, buy some old hardware and trade it in for a profit… hint hint.

But before you go unboxing your old gadget archive, like all other things this appears to be US only. And what do you mean my 1st Gen iPod only gets $32? It’s vintage.
