When TiVo announced the Series 3 HD TiVo they also announced they they were removing two of TiVo’s mot popular features: TiVo to TiVo streaming and TiVo2Go. Yesterday they announced it’s back again.

Multi-Room Viewing
Video transfers between and amongst both Series2 and HD TiVo units are now available. The only (unsurprising) caveat being that Series2 units are limited to standard def content.

TiVoToGo
TiVoToGo video transfers to computer are also being enabled, including HD content. Current methods for playback and conversion, including the official TiVo Desktop (PC) and Roxio (Mac) software, should work fine.

TiVo is continuing to rock this month after its Rhapsody partnership now its nice to be able to download shows off my TiVo and watch them on my mobile device again. [via]
