Apple Poised for A Record Open

After reporting 1.12 million iPhones sold, revenue of $1.01 a share (beating estimates of $0.82/share), 2.164M Macs sold, and 10.2 million iPods sold Apple is poised for a record open today.

Priced currently at $187.52, shares of Apple are up almost $15 a share in early morning trading on news that Apple had the 4th most popular cellphone and is now the 3rd most popular PC manufacturer.

Has times finally changed for Apple? Will Apple’s gains be strong enough to pickup a slumping market?

    3rd most popular PC manufacturer? Wow. I wonder what the top 2 are? HP? Acer? Gateway?

    BTW, that last one was a joke. :P
