Sprint (Together with Nextel) has just updated their online portal for cell phone customers. Not since 2003 have they completely re-vamped their user experience online, and this one really brings their online component into web 2.0 land.

When trying to log in, new preferences are made- a user name rather than a phone number is used and some other security features were added for user protection.

Once logged in, You’re greeted with a much more intuitive layout than before. rather than click around to find out your minute usage, it is on the right.

Texting and and picture mail options are to the far right, it’s as simple as that.

All in all, it is a marked improvement over their previous system and one need not click around for minutes at a time trying to find what they want. Bravo Sprint, Bravo.

Don’t mean to be a kill joy but they have had this since I signed up 2 months ago.

Mine does not do this as of yet, so I suppose it’s still newsworthy. Wonder why they’re rolling it out in stages?

I couldn’t log on because they we ‘upgrading their system’ earlier on in the week..so it is new for me.

I’ve hated it ever since it changed, it never works right and I can’t find any of the features I used to use

  5. Kevin says:

The things we take for granted.
