Drew Carey Hosting ‘The Price is Right’

Not that I know him or anything but Drew Carey is such a cool guy it seems. I absolutely LOVE ‘The Drew Carey Show’ and ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ but sadly those shows aren’t on the air anymore. On Monday, October 15th Drew starts as the host of The Price Is Right and I am definitely going to watch. I don’t think there is anyone who doesn’t know the show and Bob Barker, and while I did have fond memories of watching the show when I was younger, Drew is such a likable character and this show seems like a great fit for him. Oh. My. Gosh. That is probably one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen!! Thanks for posting it! I’m really hoping that Drew Carey can live up to Bob Barker’s legacy! It’s going to be really strange watching the show without him!
I am a huge fan of the Price Right, and have been watching all my life (I’m only 30 ok.). I was even skipping college classes on occasion to smoke and watch some Price is Right. I was sad to see Bob go, but Drew seems to fit in nicely. At first I was not into it, but then Drew’s natural reaction to the lady kept me laughing. I think there are many more years of the Price is Right to come. Miss you Bob, and good luck Drew!
I liked Drew Carey until I read his book. The first two sections were funny as hell, and the last one showed what kind of dark freak he really is. Oh well, I still love his shows.

Yeah Drew really stands out like a sore thumb to use a cliche. I mean bob barker weighed like what 75lbs and took the same shape of his microphone. And drew… well ya know where Im going with this.
But I wouldn’t mind watching him. Its still the price is right!
If Im ever rich I want to have my own plinko board in my house but change the money out for things like what will I have for breakfast today? The plinko board will decide on all minor decisions in my life.

I have watched price is right all my life…I adored Bob Barker. When I first heard Drew Carey was going to host The Price Is Right I was excited, because I also adore Drew Carey. I am sorry to say, Drew, those shoes are not fit for you. I was sitting there watching and thinking, this doesn’t even feel like the same game show. He just doesn’t seem to have enough of a serious side to the drama of the game. Sorry Drew, but the price is right is not for you. Just being honest and reall still adore you Drew, just not as the host of this game.
I’ve always liked Drew Carey on ” The Drew Carey Show” and ” Who’s Line Is It Anyway”. And so far I like him on the Price is Right. But, He does have a nervous habit that he may or may not know he’s doing thats driving me nuts! He fiddles with the pocket flap on the right side of his jacket. I feel like sending him a worry stone.
Could they have chosen a worse host for the best game show on the air? Where is the life in his voice ? Where is the life in him? He is absolutely terrible!!! So sad to see Bob leave…we all miss you Bob!!
He is the worst game show host i ever seen on tv.The Price is Right was my favorite game show until he became host.He has the stupidest laugh I have ever heard,its very annoying, he doesnt. know whathe doing.
I always loved Drew on “Who’s Line is It” and The Drew Carey show, where his style of comedy fits in, but his sence of humor is just making a mockery of the Price is Right.Why are the producers letting him crack jokes about sponsers items. It’s getting annoying listening to him. Bob Barker set a precedence on the show just by having total respect for the job he was doing. That’s why the show has lasted so long. I hope Drew’s contract is short term pending viewers reactions. Our family have always been die hard watchers,but that may change. We’re finding ourselves daydreaming alot during the show now. Sorry, Drew I still like your comedy, just not on this show
I noticed from day one that Drew Carey plays with the pocket flap on the LEFT side of his jacket. Watch him, he does it almost constantly. I do love him though and I think he’s doing great on TPIR. I forgive his strange habit…. we all have our quirks!
Ohhhhhhh my gosh Drew is theeeee worst tv host that I have ever seen in my life!!! He has absolutely no personality.. he is not going to last on the show trust me, you’ll see! He is horiable! Whoa! I think they are just trying to find a good reason to kick him off.. I cant wait cause he is so bad!!!!!

His old shows were great and we know he can be witty but he really does lacks the persona for this gameshow. I used to enjoy watching the price is right but I feel bad to say Drew Carey is just not cut out for the job. Everyone in my family and even talking around the “water cooler” around work so to speak agrees. It’s not that Bob has big shoes to fill to make the gameshow as good as it was, Drew just isn’t the one to fill said shoes in the long run. Sorry Drew, this type of gameshow just isn’t showcasing your best side.
