Against The Blog Grain
A lot of blogs take on the same basic theme. You know, chronological order, newest entry on top. While I have no real problem with this, it’s sometimes cool to see some sort of deviation. It came upon this site and thought it was quite interesting. Done entirely in flash, it has a blog and photo gallery that take advantage of the flash to give a surreal sense of interaction with someone “on” the website. Do you know of any other blogs that show things off in a different way? Keep in mind that things can’t be so off the wall that it’s no longer a blog.

I did something like this (but passed on the contract) for a potential client a couple years back, they wanted a “personified” presence on the web to help users better understand their service.

Although this is a very interesting website, I hate it when a website breaks the back button. There shouldn’t be any more just flash websites ever again.
http://wordage.org/ is a different kind of blog. it’s not in reverse chronological order, no timestamps, no comments, it’s one word at a time, and it’s from multiple authors.
