AT&T Says They Will Now NOT Drop You For Speaking Poorly About Them

Ten days ago AT&T dropped a bomb in their TOS that simply stated that AT&T reserved the right to drop your service if you speak poorlay about the company.

It seems that AT&T is stepping back from that aggressive stance.

We are revising the terms of service to clarify our intent. The language in question will be revised to reflect AT&T’s respect for our customers’ right to express opinions and concerns over any matter they wish. And we will make clear that we do not terminate service because a customer expresses their opinion about AT&T.

This change was necessary because having a connectivity provider actually reserving the right to censor content could have lead the whole internet down a VERY DARK path.
