Say what you will about the quality of the displays compared to that of their competitors, the team at Bravia certainly know how to have fun with advertising– first with bouncing balls, then exploding paint, and now, animated PlayDoh.

The latest ad for Sony’s high-end line of LCDs features over 2 tons of the colorful stuff that’s fun to play with, but not to eat, and was shot over 3 weeks in Manhattan. [via]

    The idea from this ad was taken from one artists image. The agency who created the ad asked for samples from their work to see if they could do some work with them. The company never heard from them ever again.
    Then this happened.
