Fon Continues Their Plan For Global Domination

In this deal BT’s three million broadband customers will be able to under their share their wi-fi with others in the Fon community – a move previously frowned upon.
The BT Fon service will be designed to let people share a small portion of their bandwidth an by opening up a separate secure channel on their wireless router.
I’m really excited about Fon’s effort to make a global WiFi network that will be available affordably to everyone.

This is interesting. I wonder if opts one out of the fair-use policy for unlimited bandwidth (or at least allows you to put the blame on someone else if BT gives you any crap).
Uhh nice idea but buying a new router puts me off… especially as it’s stated in Sky’s terms and conditions that you HAVE to use their hardware and no other. :(
