Sprint Verizon Announce USB EVDO Modem with Memory

Novatel has announced with Sprint and Verizon their second generation USB EVDO modem. The USB727 is slightly smaller then its predecessor but adds a new feature of having a integrated microSD slot supporting cards up to 4GB. The USB modem is tweaked to work on both Sprints and Verizons EVDO revision A networks that offer up to 1.4Mbps down and up to 500kbps up.

Verizon has the card available now for $100 after rebate on a two-year contract and Sprint gets it in October for $80 with a two year contract.
