Creative Commons Creating Problems?
What do you do when you find a picture of you has been used in an advertisement without your consent? That’s the questions asked when she discovered a photo of her was taken off of Flickr and used by Virgin Mobile. Take into consideration that the image was used posted with a CC License which states attribution must be given with any use of the image, and this was done on the advertisment. Take a look at the discussions on Flickr and tell us what you think of the situation.

People gotta pay attention to the kind of stuff they put on the internet of themselves and how it can be used.
I mean the girl who owns the photo even said in the comments “What does that mean-CC license?”
Looks like they didn’t violate the Creative Commons License, but *did* violate the law by not obtaining a model release.
