Self Cooling Bottles To Hit Store Shelves Soon

Coca-Cola is ready to launch a new Sprite product that will chill itself when the bottle cap is opened. “Sprite Super Chilled” will hopefully eliminate ice that always waters down the soda as it melts.

No details were provided on how Coke actually plans to chill those drinks, but if it is anything like the self heating coffee cans this has the potential to be an *explosive* success.

    I remember watching a story about similar technology a couple of years ago on a show called Beyond Tomorrow. Unfortunately the show’s website has now been taken down, but I still managed to dig it up from the Google cache.
