So, basically, from what I'm seeing, I now have two ridiculously low-priced products to choose from per day, instead of just one. How is that bad?

I don't see any downsides, besides maybe I won't be able to get a bag of crap because of the influx of new Wooters.

Wow. I can't imagine why people are getting so bent out of shape with them copying the woot.com site to a new directory, changing the color from yellow/green to Yahoo purple, and assigning a vhost of sellout.woot.com to this new, different colored copy.

Basically, you now get two woot offers a day instead of one. *shrug* Maybe I'm missing something.

It doesn't really seem like they're selling out, but rather just making a partnership with Yahoo on a new venture. Sure, Woot is very grass-rootish, and Yahoo is a conglomerate, but it does look like Sellout.Woot and Woot will be two distinct sites. Good job for them for becoming popular enough that a big fish took notice (and didn't completely take over and rebadge the hell out of it, ala Flickr)

Secretly every fledgling site owner wishes they would be bought out by Google or some other big player so I have no problems with them selling out. Bravo Woot founders.
