I think paypal needs to get some competition so that the users can get there rights back…. I encourage any company to offer a paypal like service even if its google….

Paypal has mobile services. It would be great to send money via SMS to a phone number, but I can’t imagine leaving that capability unlocked. Given that how much easier is SMS-based services going to be than what paypal has now?

This service is already available through Obopay. I’ve had my account with them for a while now. The real nice thing is that when you open an account, they give you $5 to start. You can also make $5 for referring people (which I’ll refrain from doing here). Anyone who’s interested in it can check out their main page at obopay.com.
