   @Tim, what about the black shadow? Looks like it could be real to me. I don’t know though… time will tell. If it’s real, I like the return to the actual “iPod” look

   edit: I’m not so sure now though… that scroll wheel looks mighty small. Seems to be a waste of space, and i’m not sure apple would be doing that on the nano..

   the shadow’s definitely a fake, but it would seem like someone with enough skill to fashion such a realistic ipod (with a new form factor and the coverflow feature apple has touted in itunes and is bringing to leopard) wouldnt screw up so terribly on a simple shadow… i’m calling it real

   I’ll have to agree with one of the comments on the source page, the writing on the screen looks way too small to be easily read, and it does look like it was done by a n00b photoshopper.

    I’m guessing fake. It makes very inefficient use of space and the scroll wheel & screen both look too small to use comfortably. If it has a coverflow feature, I’d expect it to use a touch screen rather than a scroll wheel.

    I don’t care too much about if it’s real or not, I’m going to get one anyway, as long as it looks nice. Just moved onto campus, and my 1st gen shuffle just isn’t enough anymore. Can’t wait to get it!

    The picture indeed is a fake, but the concept of the iPod Nano is the real deal in my opinion.

    fake. The top round corner on the ipod is incorrect. Try to learn about perspective before cutting of the ipod.

    The screens (and sometimes the whole iPod) are usually added in after the fact so they look clean. The text being to tiny could easily be related to a poorly thought out composite screen image. Not to say it isn’t fake (I think it actually is a mockup someone made).

    Seeing the iPod displayed like this does make it look more attractive, though.

    I personally agree with Tensenki! Excellent point and well phrased at that, what are your thoughts on cottage cheese though? It seems a little much for me, the liquid is just so unappetizing.
