Shure Introduces the SE110: Sub $100 Headphones
This post was published 2 years 6 months 19 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.Shure, my FAVORITE headphone company, has released a new class of in ear headphones – the SE110 – for just $99. This new model is aimed to be ear bud replacements for people who bought an iPod (or iPhone) and actually care about the audio quality being pumped into their head.
I am a current E5c customer that has had the opportunity to review many of Shures’ offerings. With each product tested I am VERY impressed with the sound quality of Shures’ offerings and the value that it presents.
Although the site is not yet updated to the new price point, the SE110’s will ship in mid Spetember.
Ive been looking at the E2c’s for awhile now for a good pair of in-ears. I may have to consider these.
If I could have my dream headphones though, I would no doubt get a set of ProPhonic 2X-S by Sensaphonics. Custom fit in-ears for complete noise reduction. Cost upwards of $700 before getting the custom fit but I think well worth it.
Wait, wait… You are saying the earphones that come with the iPod suck? Hmm… and all this time I thought I had crappy music quality.. :) But, seriously… this looks like a good deal.
Having bought a set of Shure in-ear head phones (I don’t even know what model anymore – they weren’t really cheap, but not the most expensive either), I won’t go back. Even my Sennheiser’s didn’t compare. And if you’re on the tube – there’s nothing else.
