As part of this series Dan asked me to do a quick write up on what makes my little Techie world go round. Before I continue on this quip I think it’s important I clear a few things up such as my background. I am a web developer working full-time in PHP, ColdFusion, msSQL, mySQL, JavaScript, Flash, CSS, XHTML, XML, that dirty word that rhymes with KJAX, and a few others. So I have a few little programs that some of you might find useful, and others might despise.

Hardware:

17″ MacBook Pro 2.16 / 2 Gigs Ram
20″ Apple HD Cinema Display

(Personal)

21″ CRT Flat Screen Sony Trinitron (love the color and saturation of CRT’s for gaming and Photoshop)
20″ LG LCD Flat Panel
60″ SONY HDTV (doubles as a monitor for the Media Center/Gaming system… which BTW playing BF2 on a 60″ HDTV with a JoyStick is nearly orgasmic)

Logitech S510 Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (for the Media Center/Gaming)
Apple iPod Shuffle (for the Gym and Biking)
Canon EOS 30D, 8.2 Megapixel, SLR, Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Autofocus Lens & 8 Gig Compact Flash x 2

XBox & XBox 360
Nintendo (1986 version from my childhood)
Killer Instinct Arcade (For Sale if you want it asking $600)

iPhone (Haxed, of course)
Treo 680P (Since I can’t mooch the iPhone for Modem I keep this thing charged an ready to roll as a “just in case” measure)
4 Gig San Disk Thumb Drive (mostly for space but also running portable apps and portable Apache, PHP, mySQL)
6 Gig Backup Thumb Drive (just in case)
80 Gig Maxtor 1Touch Mini (Mostly for the Gigs of RAW photos)
Spy Nolens (Tortoise Shell with Amber Lenses… not tech, but living in Florida a def. must)

On my Hard Drive(s):
Eclipse: PHP IDE (Mac/PC)
