Chad, if the US tried to impose any sanctions on China the US would be quickly put in a recession, and a possible depression. China controls a very large chunk of US' national debt, and they have expressed clear intentions of manipulating that leverage if the US tries anything. Granted that the US eats a lot of China's exports and cutting off trade to them would hurt China's economy massively, what would the US do without those exports?

Other than that, the US seems to be having trouble with Iraq... how well do you think they would fare against China

yea it's weird isn't it... we attack Iraq because Saddam was a monster right?.... but in China they are torturing and putting people in jail for messages on an internet forum... and we still don't say anything because they make 90% of our shit.

we should def. go cold war style on them and just freeze trade, sure it would be a hell of an economical situation being that the prices of damn near everything would go up... but it would in the long run help our economy, or hell we could just move shit to India if it's that big of a hit. They are programming and such for dirt cheap I'm sure they'd work in a factory just the same.

I would rather see it brought home to the US personally... but I doubt Nike shares my views.
