Simple Non Destructive MP3 Editing
In my past life I was a podcast editor and as a podcast editor when you are given poor source material, such as an MP3 file, you really shouldn’t decompress and re-compress that MP3 for editing.
For this editing on the Mac side of things I use Fission but was lost in finding a free solution – espically for the PC. mp3DirectCut directly edits MP3 files without the need to decompress and recompress in a non-destructive editor. It saves time, disk space and eliminates the generational hit of decompressing and recompressing your MP3 files during editing. Available for free and works with Windows 95 – Vista.
