The trouble with a structure like this is that all materials deteriorate and there would be no material permanant enough to trust to hold up a structure this large and expensive.

@Travis  honestly if something like this were built and they were able to avoid using a fossil fuel power station it would be great for the area around it because they&#039;d be able to use public transit to get you around inside the structure and a lot of things could be self contained.  Ofcourse for it to be self contained it would probably require a lot more engineering and that may not happen.</description>
