Here is the introductory video for the launch of the PowerMac G5. If the G5 wasn’t enough at the same keynote Steve Jobs also pre announced the 3GHZ PowerPC chips… Hmmmm, still waiting for those.

    Well actually IBM has released the POWER6 processor which starting out runs at 4.7ghz and uses bout the same energy and heat and is a monster as far as power goes. As far as i know its still just a server processor but if Apple would have stayed with IBM, there is no reason they could not be running these in the Pro desktop line. – j
