    Up to 40 gigabytes!!

And now I can configure a 24″ iMac with a 1 terabyte drive.

is it having trouble halfway through for anyone else?

I loved the cube I wanted one so bad.

I remember going to a store in Toronto selling macs (and buying a dual-G4, which, funny enough, is sitting not 6 feet away from me acting as my version of AppleTV), and the Cube display had a big warning on it about putting in those “fancy” non-standard shaped CDs into its drive, as they would get stuck, and you’d have to bring it in and annoy the people at the shop.

Okay, seriously. was this an infomercial aired on late night television? Certainly set up that way. Did anyone notice the one guy kept calling gigabytes “gigaflops”? Weird.

I remember liking the idea of the cube, but just couldn’t afford it at the time. I just loved the fact that the unit had a full size hard drive and a full size graphics card (to me that makes it superior to the mac mini).

On that note, I really hope they redo the mini, I really like it and already have one, but it seems lacking… So, Apple bring back the C U B E.
