The single feature that irks me the most about the iPhone is how the headphone port, although standard, is recessed making it virtually incompatible with every pair of headphones out there.

Friend of the site, Erica Sadun, found that an adaptor wthat originally came with the iPod shuffle (Generation one) Sport Case works perfectly as an affordable, and spiffy headphone adaptor.

Now, why pay Apple’s suggested retail price? I say check out eBay. Why didn’t Apple include this in the box? Sayonara Belkin!

The headphone jack is my one problem with the iPhone as piece of hardware too. If I hadn’t known about it going in, I’d be justifiably upset.

But more importantly, the music playing on the one in the picture is kick-ass.
