To Catch A Mole
You may be familiar with NBC’s Dateline’s “To Catch A Predator,” if you’re not then look it up. It seems that when they’re not catching predators they’re being discovered at hacker conventions.
NBC’s mole, Michelle Madigan, became the target of predators herself this afternoon when she was outed at DefCon as an undercover reporter and bolted out of the conference hotel with about two dozen reporters with cameras and others chasing after her — in the manner of an NBC Dateline To Catch a Predator episode.
According to DefCon staff, Madigan had told someone she wanted to out an undercover federal agent at DefCon.
The story concludes where Madigan is lured to a room, being told she would be able to take a picture of an agent as the “Spot The Agent” game was underway. Instead, DefCon founder Jeff Moss said they were changing the game to “Spot The Undercover Reporter.” Be sure to check out the story for all the details before telling us what you think about this.

BOO she wasn’t followed by predators, she IS the predator, quote someone better next time, theres about 100 sites with this story, you just picked the wrong one.
And the reported wanted to get a hacker to admit to a federal crime on her hidden camera so middle America could see how “dangerous” defcon is
Ok, she’s a nimrod. Why? She didn’t do her homework AT ALL.
If she did even a LITTLE research, she would have found out that “the feds” openly frequent that convention every year, and give talks as well.
So… Giving someone the excuse that she was there to “out an undercover federal agent” is nothing short of hillariously stupid.
Classic case of nimrod-itus.
