Maximize Your Power

I’m so tired of stupid power adaptors taking up three or four plugs on a power strip. These electrical vampires can easily be tamed with the “Power Strip Space Saver” from Think Geek. It is a basically a short extension cord with an extra plug so not only can you make room for an unruly AC to DC power adaptor, but don’t lose the plug for something else. Available for $2.99.

Yeah, but those Squid strips look weird and what if I don’t have a need for that many squid tentacles? I think they would just come in the way. The PSSS (power strip space saver) is a pretty neat example of practical industrial design. I can easily imagine walking into the neighborhood Walmart or Radio shack here in the states and grabbing one or two comfortably at that price.
Wonder if they come in a longer size?

I’m a big squid fan too. It’s hidden away out of view (like all my cables) and they come in a variety of sizes now so you can get a smaller one if you really feel like the extra ones would get in the way (although it’s trivial to just zip-tie them back).
